All Pro LSW Racing Heads

West Coast Cylinder Heads is please to announce the completion of our latest Gen3/Gen4 LS7 style cylinder head. The All Pro LSW head opens a new era in cylinder head flow technology with a whopping 400+cfm of intake airflow and 260cfm of exhaust flow. This 12° head is a hardcore cylinder head built to holdup to severe duty in both naturally aspirated and forced induction applications. Extra material surrounds the intake and exhaust ports to insure that plenty of wall thickness is left after CNC machining. These robust castings are available with a 6 bolt head bolt pattern and also have a 3/4" thick deck for a superior head gasket seal. Both LSX and Warhawk bolt patterns are available.

The reinforced rocker bosses include large 7/16" bolt holes and are staggered drilled for rocker stand stability. The LSW heads readily accept 1.625" diameter valve springs and coupled with Jesel or T&D rocker systems provide reliable operation beyond 8000 rpms. They also have factory located intake and exhaust bolt holes to accept all LS7 style manifolds and header combinations.

Currently we offer the LSW heads with a 285cc intake port volume and a 105cc exhaust port volume. Two combustion chamber programs will finish the chambers at 58cc or 70cc depending on application. Milling can adjust the final chamber size to your desired volume. We recommend a nominal bore size of 4.100" be use with the LSW heads. Available valve sizes are 2.200" intake and 1.600" exhaust. Valve choices are stainless steel, titanium and inconel and the costs will vary depending on material and application.

VICTOR PRO-PORT RAW LS SERIES HEAD

We received a production casting recently. It incorporates the design changes made to the water jacket core and new valve geometry.  The castings are beautiful and are MASSIVE! A bare head without seats and guides weighs 35lbs! Probably the finest head castings we've received from Edelbrock to date. Vic has told me the patterns and core boxes were designed in a CAD system and machined on CNC machines making the raw heads very precise. This means core shift will be a minimum as compared to older casting methods.  Edelbrock will be offering these heads as a conventional casting and also with a HIP process. The machined surfaces of the HIP'd castings have a bright and shiny finish due in part to the density of the metal. What is the HIP process? There is still much work to be done with these heads before they can be installed and run. As of now there is no production intake manifold available however Edelbrock will begin work on a single plane style manifold shortly. For now hand fabricated intakes will have to be used.


FOR GM GEN III & IV LS SERIES ENGINES
The part number for the Victor Pro-Port Raw for GM Gen III & IV LS Series (bare) is #77049.
This head is designed to maximize the potential of GM’s race oriented LSX block. It is also compatible with all previous versions of the engine, though the extra head bolt provisions cannot be used. The true canted valve design offers the utmost in port flow and combustion efficiency possible with a two valve design. The head uses the GM SB2 valve cover footprint required by the added width of the canted valve layout. The stock exhaust bolt pattern is retained. As of yet there are no production intake manifolds available thus requiring a sheet metal or hand fabricated intake.
Currently we're working on a CNC program for these heads with an intake port flow capacity of 440cfm. These heads are available from Edelbrock now.
